My name is Ania (although friends and family call me Hania). At Half Blue Studio, I pour my passion for design into every lamp I create. From the initial spark of inspiration to the meticulous hand craftsmanship, each piece is a reflection of my love of craftsmanship and quality. Fabrics
I believe that a lampshade is more than just a functional object - it is a work of art. That's why I use exclusive fabrics designed by independent artists from around the world, exploring a variety of techniques and materials to create truly unique textures and patterns. Each fabric is carefully selected to enhance the play of light and shadow, adding a touch of artistry to your home.
Each detail matters
Lamp design is more than a profession - it is my passion. I believe that lighting significantly affects the atmosphere of a space. Through my designs, I strive to create pieces that not only illuminate, but also inspire and captivate.
How can recognise my lamps?
What speaks through them is my continuing desire, over many years, to create objects that make our homes special and unique. Our interiors should be as unique as our personalities are unique and unrepeatable. And they are indeed rich!
I am therefore creating:
Lamps that speak with colour, emotion, shape and texture.
Lamps that tell a story about our personality and desires.
Lamps that do not come in hundreds or thousands of copies.
Lamps that bring a smile to your face during the day and create a heart-warming atmosphere in the evening.
In addition to this beautiful metaphysics, my lamps also have a few (physical) hallmarks. Here they are:
BASICS are very carefully selected. They come from different countries and from different producers. I love to go on 'hunts' around Europe or the world to acquire unusual pieces. I pay attention to the raw material from which they are made, the texture, colour and shape. One of these qualities or a combination must delight me.
CABLE in braided cable. I use cables from a Polish manufacturer. I rely on decorative braided cables because I believe that small accents of colour make a huge difference. Beauty and functionality can coexist in harmony.
Brass DEKIELwhich adorns the base of each of our lamps comes from an Italian manufacturer. These are shapely, solid semi-parts that boast quality workmanship and unparalleled detail.
DESIGN. The patterns I use to make the lampshades come from INDEPENDENT artists from all over the world! (exclamation mark to emphasise this point, as we are very proud of it). It means that not only do I offer you extremely original products, directly from talented designers, but I also support and spread their art. I really enjoy this part of my business.
