LILA

A fresh breeze and a whiff of light sweetness.

The ceramic body is a crackly jug with one ear and a very narrow neck. Smooth and glazed. The colour structure is non-uniform and therefore very intriguing. Pale turquoise with tiny mottling in shades of light and darker grey. This texture reminds me a little of a plush exotic animal.

The lampshade is a sweet, candy-pistachio colour. The ribbons seem to be gently blowing in the summer breeze. It's hard to tell if the lilac ribbons are flying against the pistachio background, or if the pistachio ribbons have the landrail as a backdrop. Either way, it adds a lightness to the plush.
