This composition has an immeasurable amount of charm.

The small, petite base is reminiscent of grandma's blueberry jug. You can fall in love with it if you stare at it long enough. I liked it the first time I looked at it, especially the little details such as the bulging blackberries, the fine vertical lines, the braids at the top edge and those serving as ears.

I've broken up the folkloric styling of the base with a modern pattern that takes its cue from the colour of blackberries and makes the whole look elegant and funky at the same time.

A lamp of this size will be a lovely decoration for a desk, small dresser, coffee table, windowsill or even a piano.
